“ So delicious! My mom and I ordered egusi and jollof rice w fried fish and we finished everything so quickly. Everyone in the restaurant was so friendly as well! We will be back! ”
“ Their jollof was super great. Chicken too. My friend that had amala said he really loved it. The lady in charge of the place is very good and understands what delivering excellent service means. ”
“ The service and food at this place is impeccable! We are from Florida and we don’t have many African restaurants down there and were so excited to have fufu for the second time. Definitely a must visit. The melon seed soup was delicious and chicken is slightly fried so it had beautiful crisp skin to have with the melon seed soup and fufu! Definitely a must try if you’re a local or visiting! ”
“ After a long search for Nigerian meals I found this place and to say their food was awesome is an understatement. Their service made my family feel like we were in Lagos. Please keep up your awesome meals. The empty plates is just a testament of how mouth watery their dishes were. ”
“ Our first time in Montreal and we’ve been wanting to try different cuisines not typically found back home. Pomadata definitely hit all the check marks! Upon arrival, we were welcomed and shortly sat down by the Owner. He was very nice and took the time to answer any questions and explain the different dishes as well as his recommendation's. We went with Fufu dishes, one with Goat and the other chicken. Both dishes were packed with flavor and savory. The drinks were also exceptional and unique in a good way! We chose the EMU and KUNU. We recommend others to stop by and try! We’ll be sure to pay another visit when we make a trip back in the future! ”
“ Premium African food! Literally the best African food we have ever had here in Canada. My partner never tipped before but he made a big tip to my surprise. Reminds me of back home. ”
“ I live in Toronto but hands down this is the best Nigerian restaurant in Montreal, highly recommend! ”
“ I cannot wait for my Egusi fix with the fried peppered chicken and extra pounded yam!!! The Egusi soup is no doubt authentic Wish was a bit more spicy but otherwise it hit the spot! It satisfied my Egusi and pounded Yam cravings ”
